look to the world you live in

We all accept the world that we see as where we live and it's what's in it that make it fun, or interesting. But how many people are taking the time to really look at the things that make this world and life in it amazing. How many are thinking that water is what makes every living thing on this planet able to do so. That no matter who you are every human being on this planet needs sunlight for a number of reasons. We all get so wrapped up in our own devices that we lose sight of these things that are taken for granted, or not even understood. Too many times people are worried more about what their paycheck is going to be, or if their car is going to be fixed in time for that concert that they cant afford. My boobs are too small, I'm too fat, I'm too skinny, my boobs are too big, why doesn't my girlfriend like giving head. Stop now, for one minute and dwell on something that matters. Get out of your head, get away from your emotions, your thoughts about life and see what it is to be alive. Stop thinking about your parents, stop thinking about wife, stop about your daughter. Realize that while your reading this that your breathing something that you don't even understand, the most intelligent scientists in this world don't understand. oh they can tell you lots about it but they will also admit to not knowing everything about how it's made up. That the atoms making up the "air" that your breathing still have so many unknowns. For that matter we can't describe how exactly our brain works the way it does, or why. Anyone that tells you they have the answer will leave holes that someone else will argue. Back and forth the more you learn about things, there is always new things to know about it and more to be learned about everything. Each time you think you have a good handle on what you know and don't know there is always another facet to yet take into account, be science, religion, philosophy, anything. the only real way to have something properly defined in your head is to discount any other possibility for any other way. And now we are back to the point of finding those devices to distract you from ultimately understanding what it is around us.

hard working state worker

yeah right. I went to work yesterday where i either check people in and tell them where to go, or I clean all of the more than 20 bathrooms (woman are sometimes worse, I have seen the proof). Usually it takes quite a bit to drive all over the nearly 1900 acres to get to all the bathrooms. At least that is true when I am driving with one guy who has been there many years and knows full well how to take all day to do this and not work too hard and not move too fast. or the other guy that decides that every bathroom should be done very well and cleaned carefully and with a lot of bleach. Both of these are fine when I am awake and ready for it, it's not too hard little sweeping little looking at shit, what gets to me any given day for this is the constant getting in and out of truck. But when both of those prior spoken about guys are off and it is up to me and this girl that absolutely hates doing it, well now we have a very good day together. The day before two guys did it and worked their asses off to clean and stock every bathroom well and make sure everything was clean and looked really good. People that night did very well not using them and leaving them clean and stocked till I was able to get in there again. I was able to drive the complete area in about four hours, well not even that long. well I work 8 hour days and I just finished my work hours early, so what did me and the slacker do? We took the company truck into the woods and went exploring, ending up one town over and hanging out just looking into the woods and having a good time. We got a little lost and finally got back to work in just enough time to actually take our half hour lunch, I told her I'd find her in an hour and went down the street to the book store, got some chinese food and went back to work to make it look like I was actually taking lunch a little late. Then I had to kill three more hours just till the end of the day. We went around made sure we got seen doing "work" and then took back off into the woods to check out the lake that we couldn't drive to, hung out a little longer and thought about going shopping except that we had to make sure we could hear the radio just in case someone had something they needed from us. Had a damn good day.
